DIY Cell Phone Charger Lights

The Appropriate Technology Collaborative has entered the Green Effect contest sponsored by National Geographic and Sun Chips.

The contest is in part a competition.  The more people who visit our entry and rate it highly the better our chances are for winning $20,000.  Our contest entry is to teach as many people as possible how to build their own sustainable technologies.  We will use the prize money to hold workshops over a two year period and to produce instructional videos.  The vids will be uploaded to YouTube plus be available at www.apptechdesign.org.

We need every vote we can get.

We need you to rate this idea and rate it highly if you think it deserves it.

We plan on demonstrating the four technologies mentioned in the contest post, plus we are working on a series of new technologies this summer and fall.  When we have complete construction documents these too will become part of our workshops.
